Finding the Yidaki or Didjeridu, has been a life changing event for me. The journey has opened my eyes to the beautiful Aboriginal culture of Australia. Living in harmony with the earth and what it has to offer, it is no wonder that the indigenous culture of Australia is the oldest continuous culture in the world. It dates back many tens of thousands of years. The yidaki itself is reported to be in the area of 40,000 to 60,000 years old.(depending on who you ask) What I mean is if you ask for documented proof done by scientists, and then ask an elder of this beatifully rich culture then you will get different answers.
Everyone of my friends on myspace has some association with this amazing instrument whether it be sharing musical taste or being a professional or amateur player like myself. I am having an incredible journey that has afforded me the chance to meet many musicians, Xavier Rudd, and Shane Philip to name a couple. But more importantly my jouney has opened my eyes to one of the most beautiful cultures this world of ours has to offer.(and they are all beautiful)So look around and enjoy what I have put together.
Peace
What my wife has to say about me:(I had no influence on her contribution;)
Well, where do I begin...I am Dave's wife, Wendy. We share a wonderfully full life with two wonderful children. He is a truly gifted father. He loves his children with all of his heart and soul while trying to be all he can be as a spouse. He works hard, plays hard with his kids, and is loving and caring. He is devoted and kind. I love him. He is open to changing what needs work, and caring to help others when in need. He is my gift from God and I cherish him.
You scored as XIX: The Sun. This is the happiest card in the deck. It is full of joy and optimism, everything is right with the world. We are as innocent children playing in the fields without care. The Sun brings success, well-being and happiness in all spheres - material, emotional, spiritual -wherever our desires lay. When this card appears in a Tarot spread it indicates success, joy and happiness. Obstacles will be overcome, goals achieved. When badly aspected, it can indicate a stagnation through over-indulgence, too much of a good thing.
