WHAT IS A STOMP BOX?....
.. ..
A StompBox is solid piece of timber with a pickup affixed to the inside and a single ¼†jack output which can be plugged directly into an amplifier, a mixing desk, or the PA. By tapping your foot on the box, it provides a rhythmic accompaniment while enabling you to play other instruments (guitar etc) simultaneously. These StompBoxes have been tuned using a low pass filter to give a low bass sound similar to a woody kick drum.

LOW PASS FILTER....
.. ..
The low pass filter effectively rolls off frequencies above 260 Hz at a rate of -6db per octave, which enables you to use them with minimal equalisation. Leaving the low end frequencies to come through unaffected.

.. ..
For the best sound, it is recommended that the stomp box should be plugged either into a bass amp or directly into the PA.
