About Me

Hi, my name is Craig. I am 32 years old, and live in Jacksonville, FL. I own a house and a car and lots of other fun stuff like computers, tvs, video games, a foozeball table, and a pet fern named, "Hey Fern!" (much easier to take care of then say, a dog or cat). I am a professional musician, and have been playing drums for almost 16 years! I play with bands that call themselves "3" and "Donavon Frankenreiter," and I will also periodically play drums for anyone who will wave a crisp $5 bill in front of my face. I also like to teach drums. I have about 6 students that I teach on a regular basis between the ages of 9 to 16, and am doing my best to not corrupt their young, fragile minds. When I am not drumming, teaching, or cuddling with "Hey Fern," I am usually busy wasting time on my computer chatting with friends or posting my thoughts on several web based bulletin boards where I can converse with spoiled 16 year olds who think they know everything about cars because they watched "Fast and Furious" sixteen times.
That brings up another one of my interests: cars. I like them a lot and I like reading about them, looking at them, talking about them, and even-more-so, driving them. When my computer isn't working (usually because I have A)spilled coffee on it, or B) neglected to pay my internet bill) I will venture out into the wild, lush jungle also known as "Kensington Gardens," and ride my bike or go for a brisk morning swim. Sometimes, if I am REALLY brave, I will travel far and away to Jacksonville Beach where I will navigate my bicycle through the tunderous sand drifts of the beach, being careful not to run over clams or small children. Tourists however, are fare game.
When the day is done, I enjoy cooking and reading and getting really drunk and falling down stairs or off of stages. I think when people see me they think to themselves, "wow...what an interesting fellow," and that once they really get to know me, they think to themselves, "wow...where did he get those pants???" They probably came from Goodwill.
UPDATE!: "Hey Fern" has since perished (never realized that house plants were not self-watering) and I now have two Japanese fighting fish named "Hugo" and "Leroy." They are a good bit more social than "Hey Fern" was, but they constantly nag me about the color of the kitchen counter tops. I never knew fish could be so high maintenence.
UPDATE PART II: Both Leroy and Hugo have perished. They've gone to the big fish bowl in the sky. Hopefully they have prettier countertops to look at. I've replaced them with a colony of dust bunnies underneath my bed.
