A little about me and what I have been up to so far... Born in Normandy, France, I grew up in a small village miles away from hectic and multicultural London where I now live.
I moved to London to study at the Musicians Institute. Although it wasnt part of the original plan, I ended up staying in London after graduating to try my luck as a professional musician. Thats when I landed a job as kitchen porter in a restaurant in East London!!
Countless gigs and auditions later, I ended up touring full time with Southern Soul band MOFRO . I played hundreds of dates in the US and Canada with MOFRO.
On the road, the ride was rough at times but rewarding since my bass playing is now featured on several Soul, Americana and Hip-Hop US releases. MOFRO has garnered acclaim and attention from such priority media outlets as Wired Magazine, Amazon.com, NPR, Discovery Channel, MTV. Blackwater, the debut album was voted one of the best of the decade by Amazon.com.
Recently I have spent most of my time recording in studio and producing music or writing songs.
I have also just joined the THABANI band which has been described by Blues and Soul Magazine as "the Best UK Soul band - Bar none" and by Time Out as "The Uk's finest exponents of the funk genre!"
Touring: Touring with US Southern band MOFRO alongside BB King, Jeff Beck, Ben Harper, Taj Mahal, The Wailers, Norah Jones, Les Claypool, Martin, Medeski and Wood, Flaming Lips, The Roots, Galactic, Widespread Panic, North Mississippi All Stars.
