About Me

Physically middle-aged, mentally under-age and not too overweight! LOVES; Partner, kids, all real people, non-synthetic music (keep it live please folks!) preferably played with soul, close harmonies and high energy! Sexy football played fairly by skilful honest guys, not 'prima-donna' premiership types!. HATES: Bullies, Rap, Politics being rammed down throat, Freeform Jazz, Habitual Dishonesty, Scheming Lies, Politics being rammed up throat, DIY & Reality TV Programmes, Socks being worn with sandals, Blatant Political Spin (don't they all?), Precious talk about cricket and 'ball tampering', Luvvies/Plastic people & crappy adverts that keep appearing on myspace without my consent that I can't get rid of!!!! O yeh, Politicians too (why don't you get a proper job?).Did I mention that I hate politics? Why can't we all just get on?Favourite lines from songs you ask? well, several really, and they change daily, but here are a few: "Maybe that's just the price you pay for the chains you refuse" RICHARD THOMPSON - 'Beeswing'."I'm not saying i'm replacing love for some other word to describe the sacred tie that bound me to you, I'm just saying we've mistaken one for thousands of words, and for that mistake I've caused you such pain that I damn that word" - NATALIE MERCHANT -'Jezebel'. Ms MERCHANT also wrote the immortal opening lines "You win a prize for that, for telling lies like that so well that I believed it. I never felt cheated" - 'Noah's Dove'. Up there with the greatest opening songlines also is: "If you're wondering why all the love that you longed for alludes you? I'll tell you why" 'You Just Haven't Earned It Yet Baby' - MORRISSEY.Regrets? Like Paul Anka & ole' blues eyes, I've had a few! Never learning to play guitar and piano is certainly one (or is that two?). Never seeing 10K Maniacs around the time of 'In My Tribe' is certainly another! O yeh, almost forgot; "Big life to Los Campesinos!" and as for Just The Messenger - RECORD THOSE NEW NUMBERS NOW DUDES!

My Interests

Live music that doesn't involve rap!; Playing Dads' Bank for my kids (only joking guys); The Mighty Bluebirds; Travel (late developer); Home-made blackberry crumble & custard!
