started to get into the “Record-collecting-Thing†with Jazz, Fusion, Funk and Rap records. As time passed and Acid-Jazz was new and fresh, people asked me to spin at their private parties where I really started to enjoy keeping people busy on the dance floor. That was back in the very early nineties.Under the influence of early hip hop DJs I developed my skills
in Scratching/Mixing and Backspinning. Approximately two years later I had, thru love of the music Worki @ the local recordshop, and lots of persistence, become one of the most sought after Hip-Hop Djs in Bern. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to support Hip-Hop acts like The Roots and Pharcyde, Bahamadia, scrach-Perverts, jeru da damaja, Goats,Jungle Brothers, Shaggy(not soo proud)gunshot, skitz, dj Kursh/vadim Africa Bambaata, to name a few.
After too much gangsta shit and Bling in the Rap business, the movie was over and it was time to begin the next script, it all needed speeding up!
So here we are and all those influences and experiences have come together and the movie is about to begin. It's hard to find the right wordsfor the soundz with roots in electro,drum'n'bass, rap,reggae, jazz and funk
and influences from around the globe....
We like to call it BREAKZ or so
