When I started to collect records, it was at that time when Hip Hop music straight conquered Switzerland. Berne established itself quickly to a metropolis with talented artists from the Break-Dance and Graffiti scene. Soon, however, I wanted to know where this music came from and I finally found to the Funk and Jazz music. This sound it was finally, wich laid the foundation for my dj-career. After I have a hundreds of records collected, it was only a question of time before I got 2turntables and a mixer and started to create my own mixtapes. As the music in the clubs began to bore me, I decided to try it myself and began in 1992 to play in clubs for publicity. Even today, it's not hard to see where my musical roots come from...

As in 1991 the Hip Hop scene in Berne-City , Switzerland had reached its peak, I learned Beffu know and quickly became clear that this was the beginning of a long collaboration. We both had something in common, that at this time, only a handful of people celebrated: The Human Beat-Boxing . Inspired by the Godfather Doug E. Fresh in the movie Beat Street we founded together with Cool-T , our friend and former manager, the Human Beat-Box Crew named BoxStyle Berne . Besides NinoG. & Fad2 (BIG Respect!) we were the first Human Beat-Box Crew in Switzerland, and we even made it in 1992 to the legendary Swiss Hip Hop compilation Fresh Stuff 3 . Besides countless appearances in clubs and festivals we also were supporting act for groups like Gang Starr , Public Enemy , Kool DJ Herc , Grandmaster Melle Mel , The Sugarhill Gang , The Roots ...just to name a few, we were able to deal a good name around Europe with our unique style. Recently, we were as BoxStyle Berne on the Human Beat-Box Compilation Mystery of Beatbox Vol.1.0. , which is the (temporary) Completion of more than 10 years of existence.
