My name is Ken Watanabe. I am from Koide, Niigata Japan. I became interested in acting at the age of 24 when a director of England's National Theatre Company told me that acting was my special gift. I am manily noted for my Japanese film work playing samurai's, and I include the Samurai's values in my daily life by not amassing too many material possessions and by living my life with honor, pride and discipline. I am currently seperated from my wife, and have two kids, an 18-year old daughter, and a 20-year old son.
