Rodric White is an Australian Pianist / Keyboardist / Composer / Vocalist from Sydney, who lives on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia (approx 50 miles / 80 kilometres north of Sydney).Rodric was a finalist in the 1999 National Australian Jazz Piano Competition and is a graduate of the Associate Diploma of Jazz Studies Course (NSW Conservatorium of Music, Sydney) where he majored in Arranging and Piano.Rodric has two albums to his credit: "The Sea Of Tranquility" NEW 3192.2 (released in August 2006 on the Newmarket Music Label) & "New Jazz Directions" (originally issued in 1996 as LB 9613 on the La Brava Label). Other recording credits are as pianist/ music arranger for composer/saxophonist Dale Barlow ("Playground" ABC Music 1997), as music arranger for pianist/vocalist/songwriter Dorian Mode ("Cafe In Venice" La Brava Music 2002) and as keyboardist for soprano / alto saxophonist Richard Manns ("Language Of The Spirit" Independent Release 1998).With an involvement in Summer Jazz clinics at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music since his teenage years, Rodric's initial interest in Jazz was further developed through the Jazz Program at the NSW Conservatorium of Music in Sydney from which he graduated in 1987. His studies in Arranging, Jazz and Classical Piano at the Conservatorium were further enhanced through the private study of singing with Don Grayden and Jazz piano with legendary Sydney Jazz pianist, Bobby Gebert.Rodric has performed at the Wangratta International Jazz Festival (1999), the Manly International Jazz Festival (1991, '92, '93, '95, '97, '98 & '99), the Central Coast Jazz Festival (1993, '94 & '96), the Hamilton Jazz Festival (1998 & 2000) and last year at the Newcastle Jazz Festival (2006).Rodric's performance experience extends beyond Sydney and surrounds to overseas engagements in New Caledonia (1999), Thailand (2001) and Oman (2004). Since August 2005, Rodric has been performing a broad range of musical styles and genres with International Musicians and Entertainers aboard the luxury ships of the Royal Caribbean cruise line (notably in 2005 & 2006 on the "Monarch Of The Seas" out of Los Angeles, in 2006 on the "Serenade Of The Seas" out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the Eastern Caribbean and out of Vancouver, Canada throughout South Eastern Alaska) and in 2007 on the "Brilliance Of The Seas" out of Barcelona, Spain, in Europe.Rodric recently performed as solo pianist / vocalist for Royal Caribbean on board the "Mariner Of The Seas" from late August 2007 to early March 2008 from the embarkation port of Port Canaveral (Florida) with an itinerary to the following ports: San Juan, Puerto Rico; Cococay, Bahamas; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Labadee, Haiti; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Cozumel, Mexico. Son expérience comme interprète artistique s'étend plus loin de Sydney et ses environs aux engagements en Nouvelle Calédonie (1999), Thaïlande (2001) et Oman (2004).À partir du mois d'août 2005, Rodric a joué une étendue de différents styles musicaux avec des musiciens et des artistes internationaux à bord des navires de luxe de la compagnie Royal Caribbean International (notamment le « Monarch of the Seas » ayant comme port d'attache Los Angeles et le « Serenade of the Seas » port d'attache San Juan (Puerto Rico) ayant comme itinéraire les ports suivants dans les Caraïbes: St Thomas, St Martin, St Lucia, Antigua, Les Barbades, Aruba et Curacao.
