Diannia Heather

Diannia is a classically trained vocalist who has had many incarnations in a music career that has spanned 30 years.
Having to “sing for her supper” and the supper of her three lovely daughters since 1978.
She cut her teeth (so to speak), on the Heavy Rock of the late seventies, and then within the “Aussie Pub Rock Era.” of the eighties. Which included padded shoulders and hairspray!! In the nineties Showbands, Country , live Theatre and Cabaret.
More recently...the last nine years... Diannia has found a ‘niche’ in performing Jazz ’n’ Blues where her vocal skill and life experience is utilised within the interpretation and improvisation of an amazingly original form and within mimicry of great Jazz vocalists.
Diannia is a true survivor, a passionately expressive performer who has achieved longevity within her musical career that sustained her priority as a mother.
