Garage, classic rock, the 90s alt-rock explosion, nu-jazz/downtempo electronica, some folk some current alt-rock and hip hop. Just about everything! So I saw Mutemath at San Diego Street Scene FINALLY, and despite their instruments being lost at the airport (and having to borrow The Album Leaf's equipment) they put on one HELLUVA show. They are without a doubt one of the most fascinating live acts to watch. If only I could have seen this performance live, I could die a happy man: Reset

An excellent period piece that takes the audience back to the oil boom in Southern California, it is also a deeply-involved character study of a man driven by greed and hatred in a world driven by religious charlatanism, "black gold", hardship and tragedy, There Will Be Blood is perhaps the best film of the year, and if nothing else Anderson's most mature work to date (writer/director of such films as Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, Magnolia and Punch Drunk Love): There Will Be Blood
