I have been playing guitar and writing songs since high school.My influences are vast from the Beatles,Strawbs,Henry Gross,Neil Young,Cat Stevens,James Taylor,Bowie,Ian Hunter,Crowded House,Badfinger,Buddy Holly,Johnny Cash, to Pearl Jam,Nirvana,Gin Blossoms ,Counting Crows and many others.I was in an acoustic duo with Jim Prichard called Dark horse from 1980 - 1982 . I continued playing in local bars and coffee houses as a solo acoustic act until 1984 I quit playing live from 1985 until 2004
