BIOGRAPHY (ENGLISH):
Established in 2005 by ex-members from South Sandy Parkaway (punk rock), Punktofole (hc punk) and Shine (alternative), VIOLA RIOT is a band from Novi Ligure, a fantastic town between Genua and Milan, in Italy. It is famous for murders, fog and depression.
The band members are: Andrea Repetto (guitar/vocals), Fabrizio Frignani (bass) and Stefano Zerbo (drums).
They play hard rock with punk overtones.
Their influences are: Sex Pistols, Black Flag, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Beatles, Husker Du, Fugazi, R.E.M., Clash, Hanry Rollins, Smashing Pumpkins, 2/11, Screaming Trees, Sham69, Dead Kennedys, Pere Ubu and Ramones.
Their songs usually speak about knives, drugs, love, brotherhood, freedom, revenge, hate, weapons, teenagers, whores, death and sadness.

Sono in tre: Andrea Repetto (chitarra/voce), Fabrizio Frignani (basso) e Stefano Zerbo (batteria).
Suonano rock duro con forti sfumature punk.
