Addicted Bones

After several years of working with the guitarist Shawn Lalonde, Annie decided to form the band "Addicted Bones". Her bassist, Serge Larouche, whom she had worked with before, moved to Montreal and joined the band. During the European tour, she met the violinist David Pichette. He travelled from Ottawa to Montreal specifically to play the violin for the album. The last member to join the band in 2002 was Frédéric Brossoit, whom she met a year earlier while playing with another band.

Once the band was formed, she applied for and received a grant from the government of Quebec to partially finance the promotional album. In 2002, they recorded the first album at Victor Studio with sound engineer Daniel Ste-Marie.

At the end of 2004, Martin Robert took over as the guitarist for the group and they will prepare the songs for the second album (a complete album) and a series of concerts. The benefits from all of the band's work will be seen in 2005.

In early 2005, Jonathan Moorman was introduced to Frédéric during one of his performances. A few months later, after spending some time rehearsing with the band, he accepted the invitation to join the band to work on the pre-production of the album and the upcoming tours.

Every member brought individual experience and contributed their talent to the band, not only the music but also their passion and moral support. The Irish influences from Annie and Jonathan, the blues from Martin and the alternative inspirations that Shawn passed on to us. In the short period of working together, they have developed a closeness like a family.
