German Villacorta

I'm an Engineer/Mixer/Producer living in Los Angeles. I first moved to San Francisco in 91' from my hometown of Lima, Perú; in SF I started doing live sound while playing in several rock bands. After a couple of years, I made the trip to Boston to study at Berklee College Of Music where I graduated in 98' and finally relocated in Southern California. Here I started to work at A&M Studios and continued there throughout the take over by the Jim Henson Company at Henson Recording Studios. Since 2002 I've been a freelance Engineer and Producer and work with an eclectic list of artists including iconic rock star Ozzy Osbourne, jazz man Al Jarreau, Mexican idols Juan Gabriel and RBD and Peruvian songstress Eva Ayllón.
