Abject of Decay is a project based in Lima, Peru.It is conformed by David Neumann and Nicolo Sommer.
They recorded the album
Reciprocity in Apotheosis in 2003, separately at their homes and later gave it away for free to a reduced group of people.After that album, they intended to play live shows but never found the time and space to gather a live band. Instead, they decided to maintain Abject of Decay a recording project. Each decided to record various ideas at home and sort them out for a new record. In late 2007 they put together a new recording called
Xcreta, which might be their best work to date.Later on, Nicolo worked on a remix album which is entitled
A Blethering: Remixes & Reconstructions, which contains new versions of older songs and complete new songs using elements of existing songs.He soon wanted to experiment a bit apart from Abject of Decay and started working on different side projects.He created
A Lustre Precis, a down tempo/ambient/IDM/electronic project with which he released an album called
Splendide Mendax, which is available for download below.His latest experimental project
Welkin Noir, which goes a more abstract direction than A Lustre Precis and explores vaster soundscapes, had a first release a couple of months ago and is also available for download below.Follow the links below to download all the mentioned releases.Thank you.
