Ryoichi and Masahiko were classmates in high school,and we entered to same college of the University in Tokyo on 1990,then we started the group.At first we were formed by four persons,but later Shinobu Kurino ( Drummer) went back to his home town Kagoshima , so Ryoichi and Masahiko restarted the group as a two-person's unit since 1992.
We were supported by many musicians at recordings.
First recording at " Here We Go' round " ( 1994 Giant Robot record compilation )
Debut album is called " Amazing Discoveries " ( 1996 flea fair )
And released " A Permanent Vacation " ( 1997 Boy's Wonder)
And some recordings.
marmalade sky is on intermission with Ryoichi's treating his sick now but we are not dissolved.
We will back to the studio after curing Ryoichi's sick ( Insomniac ).
Masahiko is acting as a professional music producer in Tokyo now.
Masahiko also writes songs for his solo project " THE POP CIRCLE ", check his MySpace page on our Top Friends.

マーマレード・スカイは高校の同級生だった 小吹亮一 (Ｖｏ,guitar)と手島将彦 (Guitar,vo)ãŒï¼‘ï¼™ï¼™ï¼å¹´ã«æ±äº¬ã®åŒã˜å¤§å­¦ã«å…¥å ­¦ã™ã‚‹ã¨ä¼´ã«çµæˆã•ã‚Œã¾ã—た。
当初は４人編成でしたが、オリジナル・メン バーの栗野忍 (Drum)が１９９２年に故郷の鹿児島に戻ったの を期に、２人組ユニットとして再スタート。
レコーディングでは様々なミュージシャンに サポートしてもらって来ました。
「Here We Go..round 」(１９９４年、Underflower Label 傘下、ジャイアント・ロボット・レコード・ コンピレーション) にて初レコーディング。
主なリリース作品として、

現在は小吹が病気療養中の為、一時活動休止 していますが、解散してはいません。
小吹が治療を終えた後、再びスタジオに戻る 予定です。
小吹の病気は、まあぶっちゃけ、不眠症です 。
また、手島は現在、東京で本職の音楽プロデ ューサーとして活動しています。
