Kuei Kuei!! Kim teshenekatekun shet Pessamit nutshin. My name is Kim and I come from a big rez called Pessamit, it's located on East side of Quebec & it's beauuutiful, I looove it!! Love the people, the music (most people singing & playing guitar per capita!) hehe I'm telling you right away: my English is very basic! If you speak French, it's better for me, Innu/Montagnais, even better!!! Body language...eeeven better!! *LOL* Also habla español unpoquito haha! Enough jokes. I am born from a Montagnais (Innu) mother and an Algonquin/Mohawk father. I've been living in Montreal for the past 13 years and I've worked for various fashion companies. My biggest pride is my son, a wonderful 7 years old boy whom I love from all my heart!! He's the reason I wake up every morning and I'm very devoted to him and My extreme ambition towards fashion became very reasonable after his birth.. haha My main ambition now is to be the best mom I can. I recently took a break from the fashion industry, and I am now working for a provincial Native organisation as the Youth Coordinator. I've always felt great concern for our youth and the struggles they are faced with. I wanted to become more involved and contribute in an active way. But I still do fashion shows once in a while and participate in various events. I can be very defensive when it comes to defend my loved ones & my people. I always have lots of arguments, especially about Aboriginal rights & issues. Lack of education = ignorance / ignorance = racism. I like to teach people about my history, my culture & my people. Mmm...that sounds too serious! Okay okay. I'm a lil of that. But I can be really crazy! Like we say in French: "Le ridicule ne tue pas!" (The Ridiculous doesn't kill!) *lmao* I live life to the fullest, simple things makes me happy & the word "boredom" is not part of my vocabulary. I am an artist in every sense of the word: designing, sewing, painting, playing piano & saxophone, acting (theatre), arts & crafts, decorating, graphic design, photography and I sing once in a while. Least but no least, I'm proud of my Aboriginal heritage and I'm pleased to share my culture with others through my creations.
