About Me

The original band began as Pueblo Revolt 1680, but the 1680 was later dropped to honor the original Pueblo Revolt. We have had our share of ups and downs like many bands trying to find the right members and chemistry. And like most bands, it has not been an easy road. As of now, we have our strongest team to date. Finally a team who has been through trials and tribulations in life outside the band. A team who has survived many tragedies and celebrated many joys, together as youth and now as men. We look forward to the future, as it is bright, and not to forget the past but learn from it. Influences: We have many influences that add to the flavor of our music, including those that are non musical. The musical influences are too many to name but here are a few: Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Peter Tosh, The Rolling Stones, Public Enemy, Stevie Wonder, Eek a Mouse, George Clinton & Parliament, Jimi Hendrix, AC DC, The Doors, James Brown, Super Cat, Cypress Hill, Wu Tang Clan, Tone Loc, Infectious Grooves, Suicidal Tendencies, Santana, Molly Hachet, and Johnny Cash. We would like to give credit to our local influences as well, such as: Tony Pino, Wm L. Sarracino, Jerry Darling, XIT, Native Roots, and Ishen Tree. Our non musical influences:PÃ³ pay (Ohkay Owingeh,1680), ShruÃºmitÃ©, Ward Churchill, Vine Deloria Jr., Leonard Peltier, AIM, & last but not least our grandfathers who smashed Zaldivar with a rock.
