My Deep thoughts & other random psychotic mumbling's
It all started when I was an embryo...Lets see, I grew up in Cochiti Pueblo, NM. It was a very spiritual and peaceful place to live and has been a big part of the way I live my life. I moved to Albuquerque, NM & opportunity came knocking on my door. This Jamaican dude, Fuzzy, heard me playing guitar in my apartment and asked me if I wanted to join his band. A week later I played my first show...thanks man where ever you are. Over the past ten years I have been all over the US and the Caribbean touring and recording guitar with various artists. I am always down for a show.
More recently my band, BiLL STreeT, has been working on various side projects so I am focusing on my own material as a singer songwriter...The Jir Project. Jirs my handle (long story). I am used to being the guitar guy so it is a little different being the guitar guy and singer. I love performing for people and that keeps me motivated.
I got's to have some tunes playing most of the time. I have to have some sort of soda a couple times a day...best with an egg sandwich. I feel lucky to be living in this time & place and I am thankful for all I have and all those who I come in contact with...most people anyway. Robots are assholes most of the time and are always taking pills. I love spending time with my wife and kids and cracking up at all the weird stuff we do to amuse each other. We seem to talk in different accents most of the day. Lemons, pepsi and cereal are cool to me.
