Rich Hunter brings several years’ experience developing, managing and presenting international festivals. Recent projects include managing for the Ottawa International Jazz Festival (www.ottawajazzfestival.com) (96-00) and the Children’s 4.15 (Childrens' Theatre) as Operations Manager. Rich is the former Executive Producer of the imagineNATIVE Film and Media Arts Festival (www.imaginenative.org) from 2001-2004. Rich co-produced the short film, Elusive with Canadian Director Richard Story which visited several North American Film Festivals. Rich is the former Director of Talent and Development for the Aboriginal Voices Radio (www.aboriginalradio.com or 106.5 FM Toronto) from 2003- 2006. Rich is the Executive Producer of the CD compilation, The Red Album which was released on Maple Music Recordings (www.maplemusic.com) and distributed by Universal. Rich won the Best Radio Program Award at the 2005 imagineNATIVE Film and Media Arts Festival for his production, The Red Album Radio Special, that featured the hotest contemporary Indigenous artists (buy it - go to www.maplemusic.com). Rich is the President of the Board for Indigenous Culture and Media Innovations (www.icmi.ca) an organization that mentors youth for careers in media arts. Rich is Cree - born in Moose Factory, Ontario. Rich is a rock club promoter in Toronto.
