All hail The Round! An all original, all American hard-pop-alternative rock band that is patiently awaiting the day when all the trend-rock bands finally give up and get day jobs.
The group, which formed in late 2003, has been running the circuits through out Michigan and the adjacent states while gaining as many followers as earshot will allow. During that time the band has released three self produced albums; 2005 “Capitalâ€. 2007 “Fear of a Round Planetâ€, which left fans eagerly craving more. And in January of 2008 the band recorded "Walk off the Bomb" to satisfy that hunger. As for the bands live performance: it’s real. No posturing or acting like rock stars. There is just a lot of sweat, blood coated vocals, maniacal laughing and thrashing with a touch of nervous tension.
The Round is comprised of leader Mike Roland, drummer Roy Miller, Virginia Rose on bass, and Chris Klein pulling off the lead guitar making the whole thing sound like solid gold. The thrill of performing and to excite an audience is as always their singular drive in life. And the lads and lass look forward to the future bringing them an ever growing fan base along with the domination of millions of hearts the world over. Realistic goals, if ever there were such a thing for a rock band.
