About Me

Courtney Robb is an ambitious and extraordinary talent from Royal Oak, Michigan with a dynamic vocal range and keen ear for songwriting. As an introverted teenager, Courtney longed to be amongst the pop elite but it wasn't until she heard Michelle Branch that her pipe dreams seemed possible. At 18 she picked up the guitar and it has not left her side ever since. Developing her own style of Acoustic Folk Pop, she began performing regularly in the Detroit area from coffeehouses to bars and everywhere in between.Courtney's deeply personal lyrics shine through like a favorite song on the radio. Her honest, communicative approach to songwriting gives her songs a resonance few solo artists can achieve. With her light, breathy vocals giving way to shimmering guitar melodies, her powerful music reaches outward and pulls you in with a grandeur that will give you goosebumps.Inspired by the success of other solo female singer/songwriters, the tables seem to be turning on the male dominated music industry with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, Regina Spektor and Colbie Calliet breaking into the mainstream. For Courtney Robb the fairy tale has only just begun. This magnificent songstress has the ability to touch the hearts of audiences across the globe.-Hitt Music GroupformimggoogleTLogo { background-image:url(http://x.myspace.com/images/powered_by_ google_white.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; }googleTLogo { vertical-align:bottom; width:120px; height:30px; filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(sr c='http://x.myspace.com/images/powered_by_google_white.png', sizingMethod='image'); }
