eMail Our Military is having its 5th Annual Holiday Love Kick Off
We are ready once again for our this years 5th Annual Holiday Love Project. Take a look at our photos from last year's incredibly successful project. Each year is bigger and better than the last!
If you would like to send a postcard, card or letter to our troops or sponsoring an entire package of correspondence for just $5.00, visit the Holiday Love campaign page to get stated!
We welcome everyone to participate! This is a great inexpensive project for schools, corporations, libraries, church groups, boy scouts, girl scouts, women's groups, sororities, fraternities, clubs, etc. Teachers, this is a super class project!
"Operation: We Love Our Soldiers was founded in March of 2003. As our nation sent its sons and daughters to war...a critical need to support our troops presented itself. This organization came to be because of the love I have not only for my own soldier son, but for every mother's child (be it young or old) who wears our nations uniform and is serving, or has served in harms way."

My Interests

Just for anyone who was wondering, we sent a message to the President of AnySoldier.com, Marty Horn, and they are still in operation. We, ourselves, were wondering because of some of things we had been reading. This is a great program too, so please check it out.

A Letter Down From Heaven "The Heart of an American Soldier Now in Heaven"By: Norma W. Beaird, Copyright 2004 norma@thefreedompage.orgI'm living up in Heaven now; this soldier made it home, The scenery here is beautiful and I am not alone. For I am now surrounded by the angels of the Lord, And living in a mansion that the wealthy can't afford. But just before I made it in, I walked through gates of pearl, God's messengers had welcomed me into my brand new world. And as I walked in through the gates, they greeted me by name, They said, "You are a soldier and the Lord is glad you came"."He saw you on the battlefield, the bloodshed and the wounds", "And God said you were coming so we all prepared more room".You must know I was overwhelmed at what the angels said, For there I was in Heaven and my earthly body dead. But mourn for me no more because I'm happy as can be, I died to give you freedom; now the Lord has made me free. And I do not regret the day I bled and died for you, For I'm a U. S. Soldier; to this country I am true.Much pain that I endured was long forgotten at the gate, A soldier's road is traveled hard, but Heaven safely waits. The ones who went before me and the ones who'll go one day, Will not remember battle scars when they have seen God's face. Our freedom's worth the fighting and was surely worth my death, For we were called America to stand out from the rest.Don't take this life for granted for my death has guaranteed, That you can live as many can't, to live as you believe.Support the ones I left behind, they'll fight at the command, For next to God, they're your best friend, to lend a helping hand. But really they're not lending, for in all they do they give, And take attacks and shed their blood, so you, my friend, may live.So if you're not a soldier, keep a soldier in your prayers, A soldier needs to know that you're supporting them out there. For dusty are the battlefields and hot is blazing sun, But great is your reward when every soldier's race is run.So be content and know that I am walking streets of gold, And listening to the angels sing, and safe within God's fold.My friend, this place is wonderful, a place I can't describe, And I'll be waiting here for you the day that you arrive. Now don't forget my soldier friends, as they must carry on, Until the day their work is done and God has called them home.I'm glad that I am with the Lord, for He makes life worth living, Just know a soldier sent to you a letter down from Heaven.GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

Books:

A Soldier's Girl
One night a soldier looked up into the heavens and made a plea to God.
"God I'm so alone down here.
All I do is fight and face the deamons of the earth.
Please send me someone"
So God called forth his angels and asked them to help create a soldiers girl.
"Boss give her strenght!" cried Michael
"So that she can bear the weight and pressure of always packing up and going with her man at a moments notice"
God was pleased and added strengh.
"She must have patience!" called forth Gabriel
"So that she can have the understanding of the stress of the job that is required of her man"
God was pleased and added patience.
Peter thought about it and said
"let her be compasionate, so that she can sooth away the nightmares and horrors that the soldier will see"
God was pleased and added compassion.
Jesus went forth and said,
"Dad give her faith, faith that her man loves her
and that no matter what it takes he will get home to her"
God was pleased and added faith.
All the saints and angels looked and said
"God she's perfect! She is beautiful and she is the one for the soldier"
A small angel took a closer look and saw a tear falling down from women
He looked up and said "God she's crying, why are you making tears for her?"
God looked down and said "I didn't put that there"
To love a soldier is to take on the hardest task in all the world.
