eMail Our Military is having its 5th Annual Holiday Love Kick Off
We are ready once again for our this years 5th Annual Holiday Love Project. Take a look at our photos from last year's incredibly successful project. Each year is bigger and better than the last!
If you would like to send a postcard, card or letter to our troops or sponsoring an entire package of correspondence for just $5.00, visit the Holiday Love campaign page to get stated!
We welcome everyone to participate! This is a great inexpensive project for schools, corporations, libraries, church groups, boy scouts, girl scouts, women's groups, sororities, fraternities, clubs, etc. Teachers, this is a super class project!
"Operation: We Love Our Soldiers was founded in March of 2003. As our nation sent its sons and daughters to war...a critical need to support our troops presented itself. This organization came to be because of the love I have not only for my own soldier son, but for every mother's child (be it young or old) who wears our nations uniform and is serving, or has served in harms way."

My Interests

For anyone who was wondering, I sent a message to the President of AnySoldier.com, Marty Horn, and they are still in operation. I, myself, was wondering because of some of things I've read. This is a great program too, so please check it out.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet anyone who supports our troops and military. You don't have to like the war to support the troops. They are giving their lives so that you can have that freedom to think for yourself. The least we can do is give them our hearts and let them know that they are greatly appreciated.

A Soldier's Girl
One night a soldier looked up into the heavens and made a plea to God.
"God I'm so alone down here.
All I do is fight and face the deamons of the earth.
Please send me someone"
So God called forth his angels and asked them to help create a soldiers girl.
"Boss give her strenght!" cried Michael
"So that she can bear the weight and pressure of always packing up and going with her man at a moments notice"
God was pleased and added strengh.
"She must have patience!" called forth Gabriel
"So that she can have the understanding of the stress of the job that is required of her man"
God was pleased and added patience.
Peter thought about it and said
"let her be compasionate, so that she can sooth away the nightmares and horrors that the soldier will see"
God was pleased and added compassion.
Jesus went forth and said,
"Dad give her faith, faith that her man loves her
and that no matter what it takes he will get home to her"
God was pleased and added faith.
All the saints and angels looked and said
"God she's perfect! She is beautiful and she is the one for the soldier"
A small angel took a closer look and saw a tear falling down from women
He looked up and said "God she's crying, why are you making tears for her?"
God looked down and said "I didn't put that there"
To love a soldier is to take on the hardest task in all the world.

Soldiers who start every day knowing that they might have to give their lives for their country and never see their families again.. To me that is the greatest sacrifice that a person can make..
