View Virtual Tour: Click Here for St. Pierre Condo .Some of my interests are: Beach, Bowling, Golf, Movies, Playing Cards, Reading, Riding Motorcycles, Roller coasters, Shooting pool, Sight seeing, Throwing darts, and Traveling. I like a variety of different types of foods as well. I would LOVE to learn how to play Chess, Scuba Dive, and Snorkel. I'm a life long member of HOG. If you've never heard of it...I'll give you a hint: It has to do with Harley's!!
I'd like to meet new friends, other Believers of Christ, those interested in networking and last but not least...reconnect with old friends.I'd also like to meet: President & Mrs. Bush, Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck, Stephen Baldwin, Will Smith, Joyce Meyer, Janet Evanovich, Steve Perry, many other public figures, singers, actors and such;I am very content with the single life God has Blessed me with, but you never know what He has planned for your future...or who...So - Who knows...if God has chosen someone for me to be with, maybe He will lead me to that guy through this outreach. If that were to happen...I know God would want us to first build-up a firm foundation on friendship. If the relationship developed past friendship...then I have no doubt in some of the qualities that God would want for me in order to be equally yoked with a future husband. I know that God would lead me to a born-again Christian. A guy that is of strong character & integrity and is genuine & honest in his Faith, his values and his convictions. Someone who is responsible enough to take on being head of the household. I don't believe that God gets hung up on age, occupation, physical appearance, vanity or material things...therefore, I'm not hung up on them either. I do believe that God is hung up on being equally yoked; therefore I'm hung up on it as well. I would also want substance in a mate. Otherwise, what would a couple have to talk about in their retirement years? ;-) Basically, I guess it would be nice to have a down-to-earth, born-again, good guy that I can respect as a friend, than possibly build onto that friendship later. Your personal relationship with God starts from the inside; at the point of salvation & that's what is seen radiating to the outside appearance & what is seen in how you conduct your life. That's the only physical appearance I'm interested in. If you & I are walking with our Lord, things will fall into place if it's God's will for us to take the relationship further than being friends. I also believe your relationship in God should be grounded before you ever consider dating. If you don't know who you are in God; than how can you have healed from past hurts and learned from past mistakes and have the Faith and Trust in Him to lead you in all aspects of your life? God needs to be living within you...you cannot have a stagnant relationship with Him in order to be a whole person in Christ. I am only a sinner saved by grace. What that means is that I'm not perfect and I daily ask forgiveness. I would not expect a mate to be perfect either. Let's get to know each other to find out if we connect...faults and all. If we don't connect; we've made one more friend in Christ than we had before. A grounded Christian friend is a priceless Blessing!!
My music interests vary. I like Blues, Classic Rock, Contemporary Christian, Country, Gospel, Pop, Rap, Rock. I don't listen to a lot of any one type of music. But there are several songs and several artists that I enjoy listening to often.
I love watching a movie from home with a really good piece of pizza or bowl of buttery popcorn. I like Comedies, Dramas, Romantic Comedies (such a girl thing), and a good Scary movie (not the bloody kind of scary movies...just the intense ones).
I'm not into watching a lot of TV, I'd prefer to read; but I watch at least several hours of TV a week....depending on the time of year. I would say that if I'm watching tv; it's either HGTV, Fox News, CNN...unless it's time for Dog the Bounty Hunter , Orange County Choppers , Grey's Anatomy, or Ugly Betty. I watched The Starter Wife & Army Wives for their first season. However, I haven't been able to follow them more recently.
I LOVE TO READ. We could be here ALL DAY to list all my favorite authors or books. I'm currently reading Holman's Christian Standard Bible. We are reading that Everyday Bible as a congregation & I'm really enjoying it. I would say an author at the top of my list is, Janet Evanovich . Her Stephanie Plum Series keeps me in stitches. And she's a Naples resident too, so you can't go wrong there. Go Janet!!I adore Joyce Meyer for being a straight shooter & for her Biblical based books. I'm currently reading Look Great Feel Great, The Confident Woman and Battlefield of the Mind (which I recommend every one of them).Debbie Macomber for her romance novels.Jan Karon for her Mitford series.Tim LaHaye & Jerry Jenkins for the Left Behind Series ...so many more!
My Lord & Savior Jesus Christ who died on the cross for me so that I may live!
My real life heroes are those that have fought for our country to be safe & free. Those that are fighting & those that will grow up to fight for our country to remain safe & free. I applaud them, THANK them and respect them. They are all heroes. And I have to add my family to my list of heroes too...First off; there's my Grandparents who freely gave me their unwavering love, along with loads of hugs & kisses. I loved & depended on them so much back then to listen to me & was never disappointed in their great advice. I don't know what I would have done without them while I was growing up. I know I will see them both again. My Aunt Deni, who struggled with cancer for almost 6 years. She continually dealt with chemo during her illness & I don't know how she stood it. I know that I will see her again too.My parents, who really had a tough time during my growing up years and during my divorce. I know I tried their patience and gave them a lot of reasons to want to lock me in my room till I was older and wiser....they probably felt they should do the same thing when I decided to get married (I don't recommend being unequally yoked). But, they raised me and loved me...despite my antics and we have a fantastic relationship to this day. Our relationship has actually been made stronger now that I am older, wiser and realize...how WISE they ARE now...and WERE...during my growing up years. And despite my stubborn, prideful, and rebellious ways - they loved me....when I was pretty unlovable and didn't even love myself. I love them to bits & am Blessed to have them as parents.
