About Me

Roots Band "Toki" are: Nigel Scanlon (Vocals),Sacha Keating (Guitar),Joe Keating (Bass) and Joe Kopua (Drums).The Beau's all come from Whanganui where they were raised on the rich musical influences of the Ratana Pa and the Whanganui River.Jamming for a few years, traversing between Whanganui, Auckland and now Waiheke island - Toki have played at 2006 Parihaka Peace Festival, and had two singles released on Conscious Roots 2&3.Future shows include Waiheke Island Waitangi Celebrations Feb 6th 2007 and Raglan Sound Splash Feb 23-24th. Other dates to be confirmed.
