Who are the 6m² ?
Jeppe Rasmussen: Danish saxophone player who also raps in english and spanish, and who is constantly writing new music. He plays in several interesting bands ("Ramon Diaz Quintet", "Franklinstraat", "David Quevedo - Square" etc.). Now he has gotten together some good friends from different corners of the world in a very small room in Barcelona, to help him play the music he writes. They are:
Andreu Zaragoza: A great catalan guitarrist. His collaborations are too numerous to mention here, but especially his work with the band "TGX" has drawn considerable attention, praise and prizes.
Tom Warburton: Bass player from Oklahoma. Has played with musicians like: Seamus Blake, Jorge Rossi, Perico Sambeat and Mark Turner. Need I say more?
Salvador Toscano: Argentinian drummer, whose mastery of musical styles has made him popular as a sideman with musicians from North and South America, Russia, and Europe.
Oh Yes! It's international, multi-cultural and quite surprising. But what does it actually sound like?
Words like: Jazz, Hiphop, Rock, Pop, Funk, Blues and Groove come to mind, but they really don't even come close to explaining the 6m² .
You'll have to just listen. And if that's not enough, then maybe this will help:

¿Quienes son los 6m² ?
Jeppe Rasmussen: Saxofonista danés que también rapea en ingles y español y que no para de componer. Toca en varios grupos interesantes ("Ramon Diaz Quintet", "Franklinstraat", "David Quevedo Square" etc.). Ahora ha juntado a unos buenos amigos de diferentes rincones del mundo en un cuartito muy pequeño en Barcelona, para tocar la música que escribe. Son:
Andreu Zaragoza: Gran guitarrista catalan. Sus colaboraciones son demasiado numerosas para mencionarlas aquí, pero especialmente su trabajo con el grupo "TGX" ha atraído atención, reconocimiento y premios.
Tom Warburton: Bajista de Oklahoma (EEUU). Ha tocado con músicos como: Seamus Blake, Jorge Rossi, Perico Sambeat y Mark Turner. ¿Qué más puedo decir?
Salvador Toscano: Batería argentino, cuya maestría de estilos musicales le ha hecho popular como sideman de músicos de America del Sur - y Norte, Rusia y Europa.
Ah sí! Es internacional, multicultural y algo sorprendente, pero ¿como suena?
Palabras como: Jazz, Hiphop, Rock, Pop, Funk, Blues y Groove podrían aplicarse, pero la verdad es que no sirven para explicar el sonido de los 6m² .
