Music, music, music. Computers and computing. Renaissance faires and karaoke. Pet animals (especially cats !) Living vegan and and being a cruelty-free consumer.

People with something good and interesting to say AND share about: The Fenians, Off Kilter, Minstrels of Mayhem, any fabulous Celtic rock or Renaissance faire bands you love that you think I should know about.I recently became a vegan and have become extremely concerned with and learning about animal rights. I live in South Florida, which seems to be the Carnivore Capital of the world to me. Hardly a vegan or vegetarian restaurant to be found here. I'd be especially interested in hearing from other vegans and animal rights supporters in my region (and from anywhere)!! I am a reasonable person/vegan/animal rights supporter, who believes in human rights as well as animal rights, and I listen to and try to respect the viewpoints of all on the subject of veganism, including those who are opposed to the animal rights movement.
Regarding friends requests:
I'm NOT interested in beefing up the number of my friends for nothing. Basically I'm only going to add you as a friend if you have a MySpace page I'm interested in checking on from time to time. That means you probably have a common interest of mine or you've gotten me interested in you and/or your interests. Everybody else isn't going to be added as a friend so if you're turned down, don't take it personally. Although I'm sure you won't, I'm not that significant in the world, ha ha !

"There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." - Albert Einstein

You Are 48% Cynical
Yes, you are cynical, but more than anything, you're a realist.
You see what's screwed up in the world, but you also take time to remember what's right.

Your EQ is 120
50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!
51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.
71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.
91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.
111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.
131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.
150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.
What's Your EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient)?
The Fenians of course. Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, The Police, Wings, Eagles, Edgar Winter, Mo'Rockin', Chicago, Split Enz, Edgar Winter, 80's music, and lots of other classic rock and 80's music. I'm also a devoted fan of the Celtic rock band Off Kilter in EPCOT (my #1 favorite!) and the Renaissance Faire band Minstrels of Mayhem.
