Hello All, Pretty new at this, but going to give it a shot. Hopefully it will get better over time. A little history now. Diesel Cafe had its beginings back in 2003 with a phone call. Jack [guitar player] was given the number of Eric [ a talented lead guitar player, who played for Amethyst out of Boise Idaho] whom he called late one friday evening. They jammed later that night and BS'ed till the wee hours of the morning. Seeing that they had alot in commen they thought..why not put a band together. Jack had a drummer friend Jamal B. { who is the founder and songwriter and singer for a kickass band by the name of BLAME AMY..}whom he had jammed with on several occaisions who agreed to fill in for a while until they found a full time drummer.James[ brother to Jack, and kickass singer]. stepped in for vocals..ready to rock with his southern grunge style vocals. This 4 piece soon found another Voice in the form of a very talented , gifted, and all around smartass in Christina. With strong vocals the band now had direction. After a few unsuccessful attempts to find a suitable and commited drummer we came across a fresh out of high school skin beater by the name of CW. He fit in well, with his youth and style of playing giving us a heavier edge. Next, a bass player..those who know music understand how hard it is to find a good one. We lucked out in the finding of Steve.. His bluesy old school style of playing rounded out the mix. Eric came up with the name on his way back from a Boise trip. Then Diesel Cafe was born. Things went well for a while with gig after gig and the band gaining some local noteriety. As with all bands some changes where made due to musical and personality differences. Steve decided it was best to step out, and we wish him the best in his endeavors. With the help of Jamie who filled in for a show we had booked[ he currently plays bass for another local band,XFACTOR] and Noah who filled in for the next show[ another very talented local bass player] we picked up an old bass player buddie of mine Craig[ we played music together in Rogue]. CW took his fall term for collage on a ship for the School at Sea course and told us he planned on continuing school in Corvailis OR. We replaced him with another gifted drummer Tad[ also from my Rogue days]. CW decided not to go to school in Corvailis when he came back and he helped form another local hard rock act..M.U.I. [ metel under the influence]. We whish them the best as well. James also had other priortys and commitments that would not allow him to stay with the group. Although he still steps in to sing on occaision. Now with the current lineup set, Deisel Cafe is rockin around Eastern Oregon and prepairing to cut a few demos hopefully to put some on here. We also will be adding more pictures of the band and the Wrecking Crew[ who we thankfully have the help and support of,,without them our backs would be toast. I'll try to add more later and have the rest of the band write as well. Thanks to all our Families, Friends, and Fans. Without your love and support we would be nuthin. Thanks, Jack
