MMAPP discussions are under way for a new annual Festival.
Discussed Venues for the Festival have been Akoonah Park in Berwick and Ballam Park in Frankston.
Set with an Animal Welfare theme. There is a proposed Festival name, which as of yet will not ne released publically until approved.
Actual date has yet to be confirmed although we are looking at january to March 2009 or November to March 2009-2010.

Artist Management as well as artist promotion is a hugely diverse and more than understood complicated process. It is more than just making a CD and the World will fall in love with you.How nice if it was that easy, being the toughest industry on the planet at tier level, perfect precision and knowledge of advertising are so important. It is an industry where there is no second chance of a first impression, an industry where the bad is always remembered first, hence why strong communication and precisely measured timing must be perfected.
Simply, there are no shortcuts, this is an industry of genuine passion, blood, sweat and tears. It is the school of hard knocks and you must be teflon coated, so the insults will not stick. An industry where adaptation and reinvention are a daily ritual and without failure must be reviewed at every possible occasion.
Specialised professionals can help, guide, review and push the artist to their goal. Not only the physical and mental processes, but the legal processes also. Think about how many contracs alone exist within the music industry alone. A trained professional can guide and will have access to correct legal procedures for this.
