About Me

Born and bred in Sydney and from my early teens lived on the beautiful south coast of NSW in Narooma. I have been living in the Southern Highlands for around 12 years now and started playing and writing songs again after a long period of illness. In January 2006 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. An autoimmune disease. For those of you that have known someone with the disease you will understand how very debilitating it can be and the excruciating pain. For those that don't know, it's where your body basically attacks itself and with rheumatoid, it attacks the joints. I have spent a number of years researching the disease and with the help of homeopaths and physicians I am starting to get on top of it. Music was only ever a hobby to me as I spent all of my spare moments riding horses and competing in Polocrosse. A sport which I dearly love but due to health reasons it forced me to let go of the sport and I haven't competed since. In the two and a half years since giving up horses, I think I have only been for a couple of small rides. Music has now come to the forefront as my passion and after starting to play again last February, I have been writing madly ever since. The songs I write come from the heart and are all personal experiences of mine. From pain and suffering of the disease that I have and for failed relationships and other tragedies that have come my way.Nobody's Girl was produced here at home with Chris the leading man in the production of this one. He is an awesome lead guitarist and played lead, bass, rhythm electric and mastered the song to what it is now. Thank you ChrisIt's taken me awhile to express myself here as so many people have enquired about 'my health'. We all have our problems and issues to deal with and it's how we deal with them that helps us through.
