Shock and awe studios was opened at the end of 2004 by James Johnston and Paul White so that they could have a Clean great sounding rehearsal and recording space to work in, and supply a helpful friendlymore personal service to the bands hiring our studioIn 10 years working together this was something that had been hard to find especially in North London so Shock and Awe was born.We have a large acousticly treated rehearsal room 6mx7m fully loaded with a selection of amps,kits and excellent p.a, aswell as a large chill out area (and did i mention how clean and good the room sounds).Shock and Awe equipment avaidable for recording and rehearsals include Pearl export and masters kits, 1960s rodgers kit, 1970s premiere kit, fender hot rod delux,marshall, liberty, trace elliot ,peavy and other custom guitar and bass amps aswell as a huge selection of guitars strats, teles, jazz masters, resonators, acoustics ,12string,p-bass ,thunderbird any many more. we also have large range of vintage and modern keyboards nord, korg ,yamaha, wurlitza,vox continental and an upright piano.Shock and Awe uses Pro tools,Logic,Reason recording systems aswell as Dav broadhurst gardens,SPL,RME,mackie, soundcraft, tlaudio, focusrite, dbx, genelec, fostex,KRK, samson,berhinger,outboard equipment and sony oxford and waves plug ins. microphones by AEA,Crowley and Tripp,Reslosound,shure,AKG,AudioTechnica, sennhiser and bruner.
