The Montauk Projekt were formed in North London, UK by AJ Cookson and Rich Mantovani. All tracks are written and produced by The Montauk Projekt in their London studio with Rich playing/smashing drums and AJ on guitar and vox duties.Their first four track cd received really positive reviews from the likes of Sean at Organ Magazine, who proclaimed The Montauk Projekt as "Some kind of locked on noise-bastard two piece" who "threaten to be all about confrontation and then pull you in with the melody and the Big Black hooks that lurk underneath".Currently recording new tracks alongside a host of colaborations in other projects...
