This here is a painting by Diego Velázquez(June 6, 1599 – August 6, 1660 Spanish Painter)of Luis de Gongora(July 11, 1561 – May 24, 1627 Spanish writer and poet). Both of us have the same last name. My great great grandfather came from Spain to the USA in the late 1800's so this Luis guy may be a distant relative. Pablo Picasso did a book on his poetry. This guy was the best writer of his time in Spain and he is one of my heroes.
