About Me

"Bipedal, knuckle-dragging beerswiller." Often I see more on a daily basis than most people ever see. I work in tv news. You probably don't watch tv, do you? Good for you. Anyway, work is almost always interesting. I really enjoy the creative part of telling the story. From lighting, interviewing, shooting and editing from 9 am to 7 pm I find a challenge. Hundreds of thousands of people see my work every day. Occasionally almost everyone sees it. That's kind of rewarding. Mostly I like covering stories of "human interest" or stories about people. My philosophy is such that all stories are about people. I also like covering what people in the industry call "feature stories." Work has brought me the opportunity to meet a lot of incredible people and I've done some unique things. I've interviewed lots of big shots, freaks, astronauts, Olympians & bad guys like Charles "Tex" Watson. I interviewed "Wubba" when he was just the not-so-great governor of Texas. Speaking of Texas, it's a great place. Ever been to San Marcos, San Antonio, or Austin? Beats the heck out of L.A. if you ask me. Then there's music. I'm not much of a scenester anymore, in fact, I can be kind of shy if you see me out. I still love all kinds of crazy rock and roll and musical oddities. That's enough for now.
