The Me Exhibition

Tingz are gwanin. Hold Tight!

About Me

We're down to one and a half original members, but our new members are fab and we are working on finally being in tune/time/sync with each other/reality.
We are now:-
8/20 Iranian
1/20 Serbian
11/20 British
and there's undoubtably some Irish in there somewhere!
When you have the fortune of going to a Me Exhibition gig, you may mistake your whereabouts for a live sex show, Barfly? More like Barguy. Wielding an arsenal of songs so melodic they'll touch you in places even the school nurse hasn't laid her greasy mits on. Think late night on the town, think ear splitting noise, think shagging your best mate’s bird whilst he sits in the next room playing solitaire with his mother (which we agree is in fact impossible due to the nature of solitare, unless its that fancy msn version that is)
All in all, The Me Exhibition are the band you should watch out for (one day), they're like listening to Ocean Colour Scene, doing politically incorrect LSD and getting arse raped over and over again.....all at the same time...or something less disgusting, like a kitten?
The demos we've got up right now were home recorded on Logic. The plan is:
To Record Demos
Get Gigs
Make money
Record properly in a studio
YEAH!

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: myspace.com/meexhibition
Band Members: Amber Higgs-Howson- Lead Vocals

Kiyon Samavat- Vocals/Guitar

(giant king) Pouya Kashmiri- Lead Guitarist

Jay Drury- Bass

Josh Alford- Drums/Backing Vox

Ed White- long time lover, former member and occasional guitar and saxophone maestro

Influences: we've got bare, but of course, its all about shiny electro pop and mp3's nowadays isn't it?
Sounds Like: Good, clean, sensible, supervised fun. Yet its just a tad more on the wild side. Just a tad. In the words of Louis Phillips, 'The Me Exhibition are actually alright'. It would be even better if he actually had said that.
