A little over a year ago I premiered my very first issue of V2MAG. I was speaking on the large talk of the doomed near death of hip-hop due to a new age genre or style within the culture. Some said it wasn't real enough and didn’t have meaning. I never once saw hip-hop as dead, nor dying. It was evolving. Nothing stays the same (though the trueness remains). Let’s give respect to the youth in rap... it’s not always gangster, and it’s not always deep. Let the young be young and stop hatin’ because you’re too old and bitter that you don’t remember fun. I don’t know what Marco Polo has to do with this song, but the song makes me forget life’s struggles... at least for a second.
