About Me
I just thank God to still be in the business. My musical knowledge was learned in my hometown of Brooklyn, NY, where I deejayed as a hobby in '84. My professional career took off in '89 while still in college in the A-T-L. As far as the clubs I spun @.................wow. There's a lot of them so here goes. Visage (Sup Biz), The Phoenix (Sup Lil' Jon, Searcy, Applejac, Jaycee & Greg Britt), Much luv 2 the Unknown Soldiers, Ethiopian Vibes (Sup Alex G), Club Charles (uh huh), The Original 112, The Gate (Sup Herb), Sensations, Deion's 21, Atlanta Nights (hell, too young to get in, but I spun 4 free), Red Zone (Sup Nation Time Syndicate), Frozen Paradise (Sup Emo, DJ S. L. ice, DJ Chip & RIP Rated R, Hip Hop Cafe (Dayum), Vegas Nights, Mekka & Oxygen (first black theme night in Buckhead). True history. That's when partying was fun. As far as radio goes, WRFG '89-91 (Sup Sista Nubia, Chaka Zulu & Tosha Love), WRAS '91-'95 (Sup Randall, Talib & G-Whiz), WREK in spurts (Sup Subtle T & DJ Herb), WVEE (Sup to Mike & Carol, Frank Ski, Magic, Si-Man Baby, Rick Party, Street, Ryan Cameron, Joyce Littel, Porche Foxx & Tony Brown). I learned so much @ each stop in radio and I took all of that with me to VA. Thank you all (Jasz, thanks for teaching me the art of the blend and not the scratch. It's what I do best now). VA has been good to me, thank GOD. In 2001 I did afternoons @ 92.1 The Beat (Sup Carlito, Chris Caliente, Fountz, Strez, Jack Of Spade, X & Joe Supa). That same year I upgraded to the mighty 103Jamz (Sup Chase, Herman & Cheryl, DJ Law & Big B, Beesus, Kustom, DJ Karee, EJ Greig, Phil Nelson & Terry Tabb). Thanks for hiring me Heartattack, KJ & Janet. I am currently doing Middays @ 105.3 KISS-FM and lovin' it!!!! Oh, the mix skills are still there and as you can hear the tracks are bangin'...............
