Theory Trick was born out of necessity.
The tiny, yet booming metropolis of Portland is home to hundreds of bands. Portland is also the gracious hostess to countless touring bands from all over this great nation.
That being said, two main questions come to mind...
1. Out of nearly 100 shows happening simultaneously on any given weekend night, how to Portlanders know which one to hit? And 2. Out of nearly 100 shows happening simultaneously on any given weekend night, how can I let Portlanders know about mine?
From email blasts, to poster-covered telephone poles, bands are still trying to figure out how to pack the house.
At Theory Trick, we've mastered this process. We know that it takes a combination of marketing, networking, and hype to sell out your show.
