About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

Well I have just tried to think of loads of things to write about me and I can't think of anything! I am not in a band and I can't sing. In fact I'm dead bloody boring! I love Cadbury's chocolate, Bailey's Irish Cream, vodka and coke and Lu Mumbas!!
Not forgetting Music. That's why I am here on myspace to listen to new music, there are a lot of talented musicians on myspace and below are just a few, whom I love and have bought their CDs.
This is my daughter Rebecca (Becki Bane) (Roo)who loves singing and has a great voice, she has some lovely songs on her page - please check her out. She also sings some excellent covers. Please listen to her. She doesn't have a CD out but she is a star in my eyes and I hope she gets recognised by one of the many fantastic, fabulous musicians here on myspace who'd appreciate her voice and would love to record with her. HINT HINT! GROVEL, GROVEL! (You'd make an old woman really happy! (me that is - not Rebecca)
PETER SHOULDER - now solo, used to be with WINTERVILLE. A good friend of THUNDER and a really talented young man.
This is Ben Mills (X Factor. Apart from being good looking (under statement)Ben has an amazing voice, I have just bought his new CD (Picture of You)it is excellent. He sounds like Rod Stewart and Joe Cocker - great!!
This photo was taken by me at the South Tyneside Festival Sunday 5th August 2007 pity about the fence!

My Interests

Apart from Paul McCartney and Brian May - ghosts etc and writing poems.Never seen a ghost, or sensed anything, but I often have dreams that come true in a roundabout way. Every time I dream of my ex husband there is always a death, illness or trouble in the family. Once had the strongest smell of 'violets' or 'lavender' but there was only me in the room, only lasted about 30 seconds.Kingston upon Thames - Forgot the name of the pub but had strange feeling of someone touching my hair and whispering in my ear in the toilets area. But I'm afraid Joanie who'd always wanted to see a ghost legged it as fast as she could back downstairs. Coward!

I'd like to meet:

Paul McCartney. Loved him since I first time I saw him on The London Palladium,I told my friends 'I like the left handed guitarist with the baby face' and I still do now when he's 65!!!Brian May. Need I say more!John Edward (Crossing over). Love this show. There's got to be something in all this. Would love a reading. Would love to hear from anyone who has seen a ghost or had a spooky experience. I would love to see a ghost.

Music:

LOVE THIS SONG BY THE EAGLES - LOVE WILL KEEP US ALIVE. Rebecca C Rooney Beatles, T. Rex, THUNDER, Winterville, Queen, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Free, Rod Stewart, Eva Cassidy and Dean Martin (yes you did read that right!)
