If you speak your mind and always be honest you'll have few true friends, but the ones you will have will be worth knowing....
And, apologies don't come from weak people.
Watch your enemies closely. Watch your friends and family even closer.
I'm from Newcastle Upon Tyne, a city with a history of ship building and coal mining in the heart of North East England, just south of the English/Scottish border. I'm the son of a coal industry man. My up-bringing was tough but loving, I know what it's like to be loved and I know what it's like to get my arse kicked. I taught myself to play guitar as a teenager between school, part-time jobs (delivering newspapers, window cleaning, and selling hot dogs) and fighting off and beating up jealous bullies....it is now completely a part of me.
I'm a songwriter, and a performer, but I do prefer song writing to performing. I don't think I'm especially radical or outspoken but I really, truly don't give a shit what anyone thinks of me or my music.
I also write for other artists, one being the incredible Rick Page (www.MySpace.com/rickpagemusic). There isn't a nerve in Rick's body, he knows fear, and he has no fear, the ultimate daredevil rocker: check Rick Page out now:

Garage music ?????

When I hear music labelled under 'Garage'  I get pretty pissed off, coz, it's NOT Garage.  If ya wanna hear what Garage originally sounded like go and listen to some early Iggy and the Stoog...
