About Me

"OK, you wanna compare brain pans? I won the Westinghouse prize when I was 12 ...Big Deal! Published when I was 19... So What! I got a double Doctorate from MIT when I was 22 ... Chemistry and Geology. I taught at Princeton for 2-1/2 years. So, why do I do what I do? Because the money's good, the scenery changes, and they let me play with photo equipment!" But Seriously..... Sit Down, Sit Down Children, and let me tell you a story ... There once was a young princess who had all the pretty things she ever needed. She drove a little red MG-B, and spent her days riding around Hollywood with her best friend in the world, her brother, Michael. Princess Bolan and Michael had many worderful adventures together, which usually included drinking decent quantities of Roederer Cristal and Mumms Cordon Rouge. Princess Bolan was always armed with her Magic Olympus OM-2 camera, documenting their love of life, and they collected many beautiful and talented friends. Princess Bolan eventually met the father of her children, and Michael found his prince ... but while apart an evil, dark wind blew through the hills, found Michael in his Palace Echo Valley, and sucked the life out of him. Now Princess Bolan is without Michael, but his spirit and huge capacity for loving and living remains ... Princess wants all you Dears to remember how important your friends are. Call them every day, and let them know how much you love them. Call your Mum ... and always remember that all you need is love, and enough $ to pay your cell phone bill.
Beyond all that, I must say, I love my life. I love my kids, I love my friends and believe it or not, I love my job. I feel so very fortunate to live and work with the amazing people I have in my life. Thank you to you all for being here with me. "How wonderful life is, while you're in the world!!!!"
Kevin DuBrow - Rest in Peace my friend. He was my North, my South, my East, my West. My working week and my Sunday rest. My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song, I thought love would last forever: I was wrong. The stars are not wanted now, put out every one. Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun. Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood, For nothing now can ever come to any good." W.H. Auden.

My Interests

My daughters, "The Dude" and "Kittie-Satellite" are my top interest. They are amazing creatures, my best friends, and inspire me daily. We are the GLAM FAM (thanks Roxy), and together we plan to replenish the Sunset Strip with all the Glitter it deserves.

The Dude is an absolute crack-up. She looks at things with a unique perspective ... and often in the opposite direction everyone else does. This Dude Abides.

kittie-satellite is a poser! She doesnt say much, but is one of the smartest people I know. She's the stuff songs are written about... a very magical spirit, indeed. Her favorite word is "lightbulb".

Our Book (cover art by Roxy Vayn) in which all the secrets within our Red Walls are exposed .... Take a peek.

Page One. Dedication to Mark Twain, and not being able to say it better myself: "The real life that I live, and the real life that I suppose all of you live, is a life of interior sin. That is what makes life valuable and pleasant. To lead a life of undiscovered sin! That is true joy

Be good & you will be lonesome — Mark Twain
