About Me

I have this amazing recording studio in the Valley... We call it ChessVolt Studios and it's truly a magic space.
Since 2001 the studio has hosted Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Elliot Smith, Broken Social Scene, Kenny Loggins, and countless others.
My Production credits include Norah Jones, Jess Klein, Antje Duvekot. Recent ChessVolt production projects that REALLY excite me (as in , 'you'll be hearing from them') are Hope Waits, Courtney Jones, and Tony Khalife.
As a producer, I have the most amazing job in the world: I get to make you sound EVEN MORE like you. I get to see talent explode. I get to see artists and bands come into their own. How cool is that??

There's no AC in my apartment. I wasn't planning it, but spending the day in the studio has turned into the thing to do. The Neve never gets turned off. It's over 25 years old, 48 channels, 48 Mic Pre...
