Welcome to my page. I am Nico Greco.I am a singer/songwriter/guitarist.I was born on 27 May 1974, in a little town on the coast of the Adriatic sea in Italy.Since i was just a child i started to love music,playing my records for a radio station and writing songs and sing. I used to spent a very long time in the records shops.I am still a records lover and a passionate records collector.In 2001 i opened a records shop,where i still work. In these years,since my father bought me the first guitar at the age of fifteen,i devoted myself to the study of techniques of production,music composition,arrangement,harmony and improvvisation,develop a musical sensitivity that i put in my own music. In my songs i talk about life,love,death,religions,philosophy,work,family,my love for music,about places in the world,nature,waves and ocean,sky and stars,about the differences,the prayers,traditions,about the mystery of creation,about reality and fantasy,about life on the road,and the hope in a better world.The point of departure in my writing is the sound of the words.I write my songs in english and in italian my language.Sometimes i use my voice to create rhythms. I love the magic of the music and i am a dreamer. I admire and respect the work of all that real music lovers in the world,which gave too much to the music.I believe in Love,because Love is the most precious thing on Earth!Remember to be always on the right side!Peace!!! Nato in un piccolo paese sulla costa adriatica dell Italia,Nico Greco Ã¨ attratto da bambino dalla musica e si appassiona subito,dalla prima chitarra e dal primo disco ricevuti in regalo da suo padre.Incomincia a fare esperienze suonando i suoi dischi preferiti per una radio e piÃ¹ tardi a suonare dal vivo e a dar vita ai primi esperimenti compositivi su di un quattro piste.Intanto cresce la sua passione per il songwriting e per la chitarra che incomincia a suonare allâ€™etÃ di quindici anni.Perfeziona il suo stile,dedicandosi allo studio di tecniche di produzione,armonia,composizione,improvvisazione e arrangiamento.Da appassionato ascoltatore di musica e collezionista,nel 2001 apre un suo negozio di dischi.In questi anni lavora alla sua musica e nel 2007 produce il suo primo CD "The Parade of the Paper Soldier" firmando un contratto con l etichetta indie Seahorse Recordings di Paolo Messere.Il CD uscirÃ a Maggio 2008(Seahorse/Goodfellas).
