I grew up in Wigan, Lancashire in the North West of England. I moved round the North West, then to South Africa where I lived for five years. Came back to England in 1997 lived in Hastings, Manchester then I came to London where I've been for the past 8 years. I also had a brief sabatical working in Holland in 2000.I'd always been into music and was a DJ at Cape Town's best alternative music club "The Fringe" for a few years. I was always into indie stuff, The Stone Roses, Ride, Verve, etc. I'd always try to sneak in some electro-pop in my set upsetting many of the punters who were grungers.I started to play in bands when I was about 17 with my mates and always planned to make my own band as song writer. When I came to London I made this happen, however that band split after four years of gigging and I was free to form rocktsars (which started life with a different name - but I'm not saying what!!). It had a good reception but life/drugs/people intervened and the last few years have been purely song writing years.My head is now clear again and if I recieve a good reception again, I'll gather my things and do some gigs for the fun of it.I hope you enjoy it and will rotate the many songs I have on this site.Do let me know if you like it though as I'm a Leo and I thrive on positive feedback, if you hate it at least you listened, so I thankyou for that!!
