The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

Television:

Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, PBS anything, If I had cable I'd be watching the Food network all the time. The only time I get to see it is when I travel. Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Men In Trees, Boston Legal is TOOO FUNNY!and probably more truthful than most law firms would admit too. I'm not into sports anymore, but use to be...and can be again...it's not the sports or anything in particular that you do or watch...it's who you do it with...that's what makes it fun and makes a person happy.

I also have an extensive library from Nora Roberts to Clive Cussler and anything Sylvia Browne, John Edwards, Mary Summer Rain, Ted Andrews and on and on...

Heroes:

My Father is my hero...he passed across the veil in 2000...when I was growing up with my 3 brothers...he was farming 200 acres for someone else...driving school bus and this was in the days of buying your own...head janitor of the local midwest school I attended and he did all these jobs together, but he was always there for all of us, my mother too, for anything that the 4 of us kids were in...sports, school events, we all were in 4-H and there was a 13 year span between the oldest kid and the youngest...he never once complained about all the hours he worked everyday to keep us fed and clothed...we were on a working farm and everyone worked...we attended church every Sunday and no matter how poor or tired he was...we always went on a Sunday road trip and picnic...Family was everything to him and men like him are a rarity, especially in this day...I miss him, but because of my special gifts of mediumship and knowing how to journey to the upper world...I see him as often as I like and talk to him...he is always with me and I have taught my mother how to recognize his presence...they are just as much in love today as they were when they got married 62 years ago...my mother lives alone on what is left of the farm, but in the eight years that he has been gone from this earth plane, he isn't gone ... not really. Any man who knows how to drive a tractor and wears striped bib overhalls and puts family first...well that's what I call HOT! You know what they say...every girl is looking for her father in her man...I'm still looking.
