WHERE WILL OUR CHILDREN LIVE... A lonesome warrior stands in fear of what the future brings, He will never hear the beating drums or the songs his brothers sing. Our many nations once stood tall and ranged from shore to shore, but most are gone and few remain and the buffalo roam no more. We shared our food and our land and gave with open hearts, We wanted peace and love and hope,but all were torn apart. All this was taken because we did not know what the white man had in store, They killed our people and raped our lands and the buffalo roam no more. But those of us who still remain hold our heads up high, and the spirits of the elders flow through us as if they never died. Our dreams will live on forever and our nations will be reborn, our bones and beads and feathers will all be proudly worn. If you listen close you will hear the drums and songs upon the winds, and in the distance you will see....the buffalo roam again.
An Abenaki Legend The Great Spirit, in a time not known to us looked about and saw nothing. No colors, no beauty. Time was silent in darkness. There was no sound. Nothing could be seen or felt. The Great Spirit decided to fill this space with light and life.From his great power he commanded the sparks of creation. He ordered Tôlba, the Great Turtle to come from the waters and become the land. The Great Spirit molded the mountains and the valleys on turtle's back. He put white clouds into the blue skies. He was very happy.He said, "Everything is ready now. I will fill this place with the happy movement of life."He thought and thought about what kind of creatures he would make.Where would they live? What would they do? What would their purpose be? He wanted a perfect plan. He thought so hard that he became very tired and fell asleep.His sleep was filled with dreams of his creation. He saw strange things in his dream. He saw animals crawling on four legs, some on two. Some creatures flew with wings, some swam with fins. There were plants of all colors, covering the ground everywhere. Insects buzzed around, dogs barked, birds sang, and human beings called to each other. Everything seemed out of place. The Great Spirit thought he was having a bad dream. He thought, nothing could be this imperfect.When the Great Spirit awakened, he saw a beaver nibbling on a branch. He realized the world of his dream became his creation. Everything he dreamed about came true. When he saw the beaver make his home, and a dam to provide a pond for his family to swim in, he then knew every thing has it's place, and purpose in the time to come.It has been told among our people from generation to generation. We must not question our dreams. They are our creation.Native American Legends

I am a predator A hunter I hunt for food I do not collect trophies to be mounted on the walls of my Den. I do not hurt for enjoyment, but out of necessity.. For Survival. I hunt to feed my children... So they can one day walk upon Mother Earth And become part of the Circle of Life.I am Wolf. I have watched for many years my hunting grounds diminish.... Trees replaced by buildings... Game replaced by humans. I have been driven highter and higher into the mountains... Yet the humans still come. And, now so shall my life.... And the lives of my children, and in doing so... Our future is doomed... We will go the way of the old ones... We are ones of the Creator's children, And deserve to live our lives in peace.. We were created for a purpose.. , UNCONDITIONAL LOVEToday I had a vision.A vision that made me want to cry and laugh and hide and rejoice at the same time.All at once I understood everything.Our purpose,our goals,and sadly the reason for our defeats.We were all born with one purpose:One main goal:To help our brothers,to honor thy neighbor as if they were our own.In every religion,it is the same.We are not to judge,nor condemn,but instead are meant to help,aid,make better if at all possible. There are no coincidences in our lives.Every single thing has a reason for happening.And for those of us that are gifted enough to recognize the clues,will overcome and progress in our evolvement.Did you ever notice how you could think of someone that you haven't seen in years,and then run into them shortly thereafter? We create energy waves with every thought every action every spoken sentence.Whether negative or postive.We create our own kharma! We create our own involvements,situations,whether conciously or unconciously. In the bible,while on the cross,Jesus, prayed not for himself,but for his interrogators.Was that not clear enough of an example? It is the same in every religion,to honor they brother.But what does that mean? It meant to give aid to those that you can,do not harbor resentment or hate or grudge against another.Even if they hate you,pray for them.Pray that they are able to see that we are all as one.What we do to another,we only do to ourselves.Because one has a different opinion,does that make them wrong? If you do not agree with someone,it is that opportunity to try to understand what makes them feel that way.Without judgement.Our hatred and predjudice only promotes more hatred and predjudice.Do not feed into that.Reject all negative thoughts and try all the harder to understand the person,and or situation.Try to see their point of view,and if you still disagree,it does not make them wrong,only of different opinion. .No matter what creed,race,religion,sex a human is,we all have one father,one mother. Polotics have stained our lives,and to what good? Are they not still debating? Fighting? It is our own arrogance,our own pride and and negativity that is destroying us. Animals learned centuries ago how to co exist,why can't we learn from them? Are we so superior that we fail to see the natural law of everything? In order to recieve,we must first give. What we do not understand,we fear.And what we fear,we destroy.The Creator,Lord,God did not intend us to destoy each other I promise you.We were meant to Love.Love unconditionally. It is easily said,written,but hardly easy to demonstrate unconditional love. For example because one is not Catholic,or Christian,or Baptist,or Jewish does not make him wrong.Only of different reverant fashion.They still believe in a Creator of sorts,a higher power,and their way of showing it will still get through no matter what language or action they take.It is all in the energy they exude.We can be heard in many different voices,many different tones,many languages,but their is one thing thing they all have in common.Love for the creator.Positive thoughts.Good energies.Love.Light.And that is understood even without uttering a single word.
