The "TBD" in TBD Improv stands for “To Be Determined.†It’s an acronym, but without the periods. Why so punctuationally arrogant, you ask? Because it’s cleaner, and it’s easier to type, and because we’re branding geniuses. See, the real genius is that “To Be Determined†also describes what we do. Our shows are completely improvised, meaning everything we do is “To Be Determined†by three things: the spin of the wheel, the whims of our audience, and the spur-of-the-moment revelations our performers draw from the collective unconscious. We do comedy improv, and we do it rapid-fire. We do it without pausing. You could, perhaps, say: we do it without periods. So that’s why.
We also just had posters printed up without the periods, so there’s that, too.
