Vagabond

Vagabond is a musical entity that combines different styles and ideas to create music that can never be labeled as monotonous. From heavy head-banging riffs to grooves that will make you move. The music transcends and justifies the spirit of rock and roll. Hard Rock is the nucleus of the band and there are many different genres that have influenced and decorated the music to make it what it is. Vagabond is influenced by such bands as: Janes Addiction. Velvet Revolver. led zeppelin. stone temple pilots. filter. pink floyd. and the list goes on and on.
Vagabond has just completed a ten song album called " the island of misfits toys". which was produced by DJ stange and vagabond. It was mixed and mastered by the legendary MICHEAL BARBIERO ( guns n roses- appetite for destruction, MADONNA, antigone rising , and countless others). keep your eyes and ears open for vagabond playing on a radio station and at a venue near you. You can also find vagabonds music on the soundtrack of eroticists film called " atomic vixens:escape from the valley of the sluts" , directed by ron royster and available at tower records nation wide.
The band was established in Spring of 2001. Since then, they have played hundreds of shows, which included acoustic radio shows and battle of the bands.
They have appeared in music magazines: The Limelight and Shout-Out. They have also appeared on Local Tallahassee TV. The members of the band are as follows: Joe = Vocals, Spikey D. = Bass, Ryan-Christopher = Guitars, Bruce = Drums.
Recently Ryan-Christopher, and Bruce went on a side project tour with Lennon, which had them in front of thousands of fans in support of Alice Cooper, Heart and also spent two weeks on the Warped Tour. Bruce in the fall of 2006 will be on the road with Lennon playing on the Motley Crue / Aerosmith tour. The members of this band have played shows with the following groups. Lennon , Heart , Alice Cooper , Avenged Sevenfold , Lars Friedrickson and the Bastards , Coheed and Cambria , Bad Religion , Dark New Day , Aerosmith , Motley Crue , NOFX , Flogging Molly, and Ligion.

Est. in spring of 2001. Released 6 song E.P. in Fall of 2002. Won First Place in 2003 Shout-Out Magazine Battle of the Bands. Appeared in Local and Regional Music Magazines and on local television music show. Starred and performed in independent film called "She Sucks". 4 singles played on Local Radio (X 101.5 and Gulf 104.1) Played acoustic Radio Shows. Recorded 4 songs in May 2004. Recorded 6 songs in January 2005. 2006 marked the release of " island of misfit toys". Vagabond can also be found on the soundtrack and in the movie, of the new eroticists films release called " atomic vixens: escape from the valley of the sluts".
